Having worked in the legal sector for 30 years as a lawyer, legal recruiter and career confidante guiding thousands of men’s careers, I understand all the strategic, business and personal issues which are experienced equally in the accounting profession
I too have faced these challenges so understand intrinsically how mid-career and life can be tough while navigating relationships, raising children, life disasters, health issues, finances and dying/ill parents to name a few.
At work and amongst my peers, too often I witnessed career choices being made for ill-considered reasons, where the repercussions reverberated through careers and lives, creating stressed and depressed souls, broken families and illusory wealth.
From these experiences, I became highly curious about well-being, sustainable high performance and what career success looks like, particularly for mid-career men.
This curiosity led to the creation of The Business of You Wellbeing & Career Management Framework and the range of services and programs found on this website, something I am deeply passionate about.
My greatest success is the love of my family (wife & three children) and the simple life we have created together. I believe that it’s the little things in life that are the big things.
A bit of a design nut, I am uplifted by architecture, interior design, art, and all things beautifully crafted with heart, including furniture, music, food and wine.
